hi people.i'm having problems making backups of hitch and xxx pt2.
i tried using dvd decrypt and, seperatly, using anydvd.niether of the programs would enable me to rip the films.i tried with dvd shrink,it goes to 29% then jams up,it's the same with dvd clone 2.
when i have the preview ticked "on" on dvd shrink,it analyzes the menus.when the film starts it jams.i'm wondering if it's this arccos encoding 'cos i've never been able to work around that problem.
any help would be appreciated.

I think it is more than likely a bad disk, try cleaning and if this does not work return it and get another original. AnyDVD will handle both of these movies, so will Decrypter. Uncheck the preview button this sometimes works.

i think a good thing is to make sure you have the latest AnyDVD because i had the same problems with the same 2 movies and i was useing AnyDVD i got off a torrent site i downloaded the one off the web site and everything worked fine but a bad disc is very possible but they are very new but if you rented them that could be the problem

YES it would be Chris

and yes AnyDVD has a 21 day free trial before you buy the program ,BUT belive me its WELL worth the money and if you type in "afterdawn" when your buying the cost will be 10 bucks off
and CloneDVD 2 works wonderfull with AnyDVD so i would def. consider getting both (its what iam using )you wont be sorry
