GT4 DVD9 Backup from HDD

I wonder if there is a possibillity to play GT4 DVD9 backup from a HDD? If there is a way, how can I do it? or do I have to patch it to a DVD5?

You need a patched version of hdloader to play DVD9 games off a hdd, you can either download a patched version of it to put on cd or a elf for a exploit to put on your memory card.

how about hdloader 0.7c? or the one that the Stinky Boot cd has? will that work??

And after I have the patched HDL...I only have to transfer the image to the HDD and boot it...no?

Yeah the 0.7c one will work, Ive never used stinks hdl. If your going to put DVD9 games on the hdd you will need to use WinHIP.

Thanks p4_tt...I will try this next weekend when my HDD arrives. And I checked...the p2 boot cd has the DVD9 support .elf
