I have had installed a duo 2 se modchip in my system. This way, I don't have to use the swap magic card or the flip-top to run back-ups. I have no problem with any ntsc backup, since my machine is ntsc.

The problem I have is with PAL backups. As expected, I get the scrolling/black and white issue. I easily fixed that problem with my modded ps1 by burning an easy to use boot disk that could force the game to use ntsc video frequency, and thus far it has worked with all my ps1 pal backups.

Naturally, I tried finding one such little application for the ps2 but as of yet, I haven't found it. I tried swap magic and cdloader and neither works.

Oh, and before you tell me to patch my game before burning it, I'll point out that they are Phantom Brave and Kingdom Hearts, both of which do not work with the Y fix program. I tried it and I get completely black screens with the burned images, although the sound still works.

So, my querry is basicly to know wether there is such a boot disk that would force the video signal of pal games to the ntsc standard. Thanks for your help!
