swap magic tool C problems

I have a black slimline ps2 and i got them tools from a website but when i went to install tool C it wouldnt go down. can anybody help me on this issue as i have looked at various guides but cant figure out the problem

the easiest way will be to open your PS2 and use duct tape to hold down inside sensor

yeh i have tried that aswell but the tape keeps on coming off the sensor and it wont stick down properly. is there a special type of tape that will hold it in place?
