Hi.

Is there any way to use the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors Xtreme Legends feature that allows you to put in the original disc to play the old levels? My PS2 is unmodded, and when I put in the original games' backup in Xtreme Legends it detects it as wrong disc.

The Xtreme Legends versions are larger than the original games, and have less characters and levels. Also, the fact that you only need to put in the original disc to unlock the older levels suggests that the original games are already on XL, but Koei are just being cash cows. Is there ANY WAY to patch XL or to hack it so I don't have to use the original? There's several files on the Xtreme Legends discs which, when opened with a hex editor, refers to a small file which is NOT on the XL disc, but on the standard version's disc.

I'd really appreciate help on this, since no-one has really answered this question.
