Hi, I was wondering if I can put a video file on a CD-R then Play it in my DVD player? Is it possible to do this withought a DVD Burner?

All depends if your home dvd players supports VCD/SVCD playback. Look on your home dvd player for these supports or look on your remote for a "PBC" function. I have tons of movies converted to SVCD than play on my home dvd player. Video quality is just as good as DivX!
