problem with ripped dvd

I ripped "The fellowship of the ring" acording to the guide, so I have the main movie files and also the other files mentioned in the guide.

The problem is that if I try to play the movie from within IfoEdit I get the following error: DVD Warning: An illegal navigation command was encountered.

When I split to 2 DVD-R's and create image files, I find that the first one has this problem, but not the second.

I am a total newbie so any help would be appreciated.
