m2p file playback

Hello

I am having problems playing m2p files.
I have the newest powerdvd, and windows media player 9. Neither one of these players doesnt play m2p files. m2v files play properly on powerdvd.
Is there any way to play back m2p files on powerdvd?
What player should i use to playback m2p files?
