How do I back up Goldmember?

i am trying to back up goldmember. i am using dvd x copy. it gets to a certain point during the reading process and comes up with the message "error reading source" i've checked the disk for finger marks and scratches. the disk is clean and unmarked. does anyone know why it is doing this, and any other ways to backup the movie? cheers

What os are you running??? If its Linux download and install dvd::ri and transcode. It will read without erroring out.
