MICROSOFT WINDOWS VISTA AND XP PROGRAMMER
Quote: One of Microsoft's finest techs was drafted and sent to boot camp. At the rifle range, he was given some instruction, a rifle, and bullets. He fired several shots at the target. The report came from the target area that all attempts had completely missed the target.
The Microsoft tech looked at his rifle and then at the target again. He looked at the rifle again, and then at the target again. He put his finger over the end of the rifle barrel and squeezed the trigger with his other hand. The end of his finger was blown off, whereupon he yelled toward the target area: "It's leaving here just fine. The trouble must be at your end!"

MY BITCH FOR TODAY
Quote: Spy chips on UK exam papers
p2pnet.net news:- RFID spy tags are entering the world of exams in Britain.
Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) will be used to try to stop GCSE and A-level cheaters from cheating, says exam board Edexcel
"A joint exams body already polices the system, with schools following strict procedures to maintain security," says the BBC. But, "papers do go missing," it goes on. "Some are stolen and sold. Others have been distributed on the internet."
Of 620,000 exam packages sent out to schools and colleges by Edexcel last summer, there were around 70 reports of security breaches, says The Register.
"We're doing a major trial of new techniques and technologies with the aim of deterring potential thefts, enabling us to better identify the source of a lost or stolen paper, and reducing the threat of fake papers being sold to candidates," says Edexcel managing director Jerry Jarvis

SECOND BITCH
Quote: Mom Indicted for Selling Daughter
Girl Taken to Mexico

Tina Valdez, Jason Carlile
WICHITA FALLS --
A 37 year old woman was indicted Monday on charges that she sold her teenage daughter for $3000. Tina Valdez is accused of selling the 15 year old girl to a man last August. At first, Valdez told authorities in Archer County that her daughter had run away. She even gave police a note that she said her 15 year old daughter had written about going to look for her father.
But investigators say Valdez admitted last month that she sold the girl to 35 year old Jason Carlile who took her to Mexico. Carlile was already facing charges of indecency with a child and possession of child pornography. He was also indicted Monday.
Valdez and Carlile are being held on $150,000 bond each. The girl is back in Texas and has been placed in foster care.

@Ireland ... that's some pretty sick stuff. In my very first week on the job as a social worker sixteen years ago, we had a girl in the office who had a baby at the age of 10! I didn't even think that was physiologically possible! She was raped by her own father. I've seen some seriously strange things in my line of work but at least I deal with adults; I don't think I could deal with some of the things my coworkers deal with.
My bitch du jour: political campagne TV commercials and phone calls. I've turned my answering machine off.

@Billyboy ... yes, she did have the baby but I don't know if it had any disabilities; she was in our office but I didn't have any direct dealings with it. I know why you ask though; there is a HUGE problem with that in our Amish communities; many marry through their church and not civil authority so there is no way to monitor it ... they marry their own cousins etc and have been doing so for generations so the disability and MH/MR problems are huge.

Sounds like one of my employees.
Any IQ over a single digit is a waste of brain matter according to them.
You should have told him to ignore it, it was just an urban myth and see what happens then.
Just my 2¢ worth.
This however, ranks right up there with "I have a stupid idea, let's run with it."

My bitch today...must be a full moon tonite; the lunnies are coming out of the woodwork. First client of the day was a tranny; I haven't had one in a while! He/she was very tastefully dressed but his/her arms are entirely too muscular to be going sleeveless. My last appointment before lunch was instructed by god to come in and I would send him to school. Now I have a third calling every ten mins; he had a Ph.D. from Temple University while he was an agent for the CIA but they had to give him a new identity and he can't speak about his past except to say that his Ph.D. was with his old identity and now he has to start all over again with his education. My head hurts.

Gerry1 I wasn't going to say anything but you better be keeping a journal of all these incidences with "your" people and write your memoirs some day. You will make a fortune! I honestly can't believe some of the things people will do to "get" along in there life. LOL. I'm sad enough, getting paid to grow grass (bermuda & bent) not the "funny" kind, with my "realm of grass" I'm in care of. LOL. BUT telling you he is in the "protective witness program" or whatever is beyond me I'll guarantee you that. hehehe. HOW do you do it my friend??

OK, B!TCH of the day for me:
Having to work the next few days sun-up to sun-down for a one (1) day tournament for a bunch of non-appreciative childish so-in-so's. :P

gerry1, funny you mention Temple, I was there today with my son at Temple dental school, prices there are a lot better than these wackjob prices these dentists charge in my suburban nieghborhood in Langhorne, what they wanted to do for my son was $3000, the school charged $400 for the same work and even did some extra work also, can't beat that.

If you can bear the time that it takes to get dental work done at a reputable dental school, the quality of the work will almost always be better than at a private dental office, unless the dental student shouldn't really be a dental student and there are a few of those around.
Another tip: Don't judge your dentist on just the fact that he doesn't hurt you. It's the work that goes into your mouth that counts the most.
