I have tried and tried but cannot seem to beable to rip XXX 2, it will not work with DVD shrink or Decrypter. DVD shrink freezes when analysing and DVD decypter stops too. The only thing that works is ripping the DVD into File mode on Decrypter but what do i use to burn this - i cant re-open it with shrink either. PLESASE HELP

If you have ripped it in file mode using Decrypter just open up Shrink and click on Re-author from there you can browse to where you ripped the files and drag the title into the left window pane. Then you can backitup :-)

Hey Safe999,
i came across the same problem last week...I was backing up a bugs life and DVD Shrink said "Redundancy error" or something like that...BlinkWrite 5 said the same so what i did was use DVD Decrypter and ripped it as files...I had all the VTS_*_*.VOB files I then fired up Nero and clicked new dvd movie. I imported the movie into Nero under the video folder and burnt it at 4x(safer). it said that it probably wont work but it did...
If you still have problems, use Dr.DivX and rip it to .AVI with best quality(no compression), then fire up Nero and create dvd movie. insert the .AVI, create chapters in the spots where chapters are and burn...this will take about 3 hours depending on the computers hardware. it is a long way about it but it works. that is how i have backed up my movies. this last bit works well if you only have a PC and watch movies on a pc cause DivX movies have good compression and can fit onto a CD.
