Ok, I'm very new to burning and have burned 2 disc so far but each time I have had to do several different set with each burned disc. I was trying to burn the Ring 2, I loaded it into my computer then used the DVD Decrypter selected mode then ISO read saved to my hard drive. The I selected ISO write put in a blank dvd and it gave me a ISO or MDS file. I then tryed to burn it and it won't burn the file. I then tried the DVD shrink and it said it was to long of a file? I have read all the post here and I think there must be a step I'm missing? I have a Sony DVD burner X16 for speed with Nero software. If someone could take the time again the go step by step with using DVDShrink or DVDDecrypter with Nero that would be great! Thanks Dan

Try ripping with Decrypter in file mode and then using Shrink. You might want use the re-author in Shrink and do movie only. Here is a guide on using both programs.

I followed everything to the "T". I used Decrypter then open DVDshrink and it appeared that it burned the movie twice? I went to bed and woke up and it said it was ready to burn? I tried to burn with Nero and it said error? I open the folder and I could see the movie files and they gave me an error code as well. I will try again.

Here are the error codes with Nero(Failed to open VTS_01_MENU_1.VOB)
& DVDShrink gives me the same error code as well? It will appear that it's burning but it isn't.

Did you use re-author in Shrink and just do the movie only, and not the whole disk?

I think I see what may have happen. I left at the very end before burning (select target image file) Their are two to choose and I chosse the first one, this time I picked the 2nd one C:\Ring2.ISO. That must have been the problem?
