so i want to hook up my xbox to my pc so i can ftp it but for sum odd reason the ip address on the main screen of evo-x isnt showing an ip address but under system settings on the xbox there is an ip address inputted
please help

What type of connection are you trying to set up? Are you connecting your xbox to your TV via a router or are you trying to do a direct connection?

i'm trying to make a direct connection to my pc via crossover cable but the hdd wont unlock & the main screen on evox wont show the ip address

make sure u are on the info dash of EvoX and not the deafult skin. To do this go to settings choose skins then choose infodash as your skin an ip adress will appear. Ohh and by the way are u soft modding or hard modding. And if u are hadmodding what chip do u have??

If u even check the network settings of evox and still don't see an IP adress try chsnging the use static IP setiings and if all else fails get a new dash!

Yeah, in the network settings, look to see if your IP is set for DHCP or Static. Set it up as static, restart and see what the status is. The tutorial in my sig. How to FTP...Made Easy should help. I have screen shots in there of EvoX...

well u need to set it to DCHP and try that setting or try to assign it an IP adress. If that doesn't work try a diffent dash I would suggest UnleasX I have had great success with that and I had many network troubles with EvoX and with UnleasX it is better!

Ohh i just thought of one more thing when u got evox on there in the first place did u FTP or did u make a disk? and if u FTPed then use the same ip adress and use xbox as the user name and pass!

3 times huh? Way to get your point across...LOL. Easy on the reply button or make that switch to FireFox.
akspud93 is right though, try another dashboard. Avalaunch with be a quality choice of the remaining available. With it you can use Qwix as your xiso transferring tool

Hey sorry bout the replies eariler idk what happened....and unleashx should be rather easy to aquire....that is if u know who to acess xbins. If u need i can run u through it. And i would strongly suggest unleashx it got rid of all my network problems that i had with evox.
