I'm looking for a reasonably priced software that has (photo) editing features, and maybe add music (wma's), as well as burn jpegs onto cd-r's/dvd-r's (so I can play them on stand alone players).
I have Nero Express in my computer, so I guess that should somewhat solve the burning process, but I'm not sure if it will be compatible with the software (whatever it is I get) I will be using.
I want to be able to take out "red-eyes", take out/put in backgrounds, brighten/darken, fix "ghost" effects, and just general editing, nothing hardcore. More amateur/novice software. I don't even mind older versions, as long as it has a lot of features.
Yeah, I tried putting jpeg images on a cd-r and it turned out horrible. It played in my stand alone dvd player, but it was on "menu mode". The pic's were shown 6-7 at a time, and the resolution was awful. I just wanted to see how it looked, but man, I messed up somewhere. I gave up after that, I didn't want to make anymore coasters. I guess I need to start experimenting with it, but I figured it'd be easier with a separate proggy, then burn with Nero.
I tried following the instructions, but it didn't turn out like I had thought.
PaintShopPro has all the features you need to make the corrections you require on your photos before you use them in a slideshow.! It's 25% of the price of Photoshop ! Unless you are a professional photographer and/or a Graphic web artist/designer the need for Photoshop is not very apparent !
You will have to combine this to MemoriesOnTv or ProshowGold to achieve your slideshow presentation ;both programs will offer to burn via Nero when you are done !
MemoriesOnTv is a bit more user friendly then ProshowGold... however you have a better choice of transistions on Proshow... !
What about Ulead or Pinnacle? Any experience with this two proggies? Ever tried "PictureIt" from Microsoft? I read somewhere that the install was pretty invasive. That's another one of my criterias, I don't want a proggy that's going to mess up my pc.
