i just bought myself the alien quad, its an 8 disc set, and as usual i dont like rnnnin my discs more than i have to, the first movie disk ripped fine, disk 3, the second movie wont rip, ive tried 3 or 4 dif rippers, and im not talkin bout the divx conversion, im talkin bout jnuswt getting it off the disc and into my pc to convert it, dvddecrypter hasnt given me any problems but thhis one has it stuck, any advice would be great

Presumably the disk plays on the PC okay. If so what message do you get whilst copying. I have copied the Alien set no problem with both Decrypter and Shrink, maybe the new set has been updated with the latest copy protection not placed on originals. It may just be that the disks protection is too new for Decrypter and you need to run another program in the background to remove it first (AnyDVD). Without more info it is almost impossible to guess correctly which of the many possible causes you are suffering. Maybe try Shrink as well, you can set it to DVD-9 so that no compression is done on the output.
