Has anyone tried both head to head regarding;

1-ease of use
2-Features
3-Rendering or authoring time
4-Overall satisfaction

Someoen else had posted in the software section about who used what. I have used Studio for a couple years, and really enjoy it. I also believe it makes very good movies. Just curious if anyone routinley uses oth, or prefers one ove the other.

Pinnacle Studio 9 and Adobe Premier Pro are in Two Totally Different Classes, You really Can not Compare the two...

Studio 9 is a Consumer Oriented program that is More Based arround ease of use and Adobe Premier Pro is a Professinal Level program Based on Features and Quality which you need when Editing Motion Pictures and TV Shows....

Adobe Premier Pro is Difficult to use and has a Jumbled and Crowded Interface but once you Learn how to use it you can Do some Pretty Amazeing Things with it and it has a Huge Variety of Filters ,Effects and Transitions and there are a Huge ammount of Third Party Plugins and add-Ons available for it...

Premier is also Just strictly an editing and Effects program and has no DVD Authoring Capibilities but it can Output your Project as a DVD Compliant Mpeg-2 file and it"s Mpeg encodeing is much better than in Studio 9 and It has a Bunch of Mpeg encodeing Plugins available for it that can be used to encode to Mpeg-2 for DVD of these there is the CCE SP Premier Plugin which is arguably the Best encoder on the Market and also the Canopus Procoder Plugin for Premier which is also a very Good encoder....

There are Many other Good editors out there like Vegas Video and Edius and AviD ect most of which are better than studio 9 but most are also harder to learn but that is only because they can do so much more ...

Cheers

I will probably stick with Studio then. I am happy with it and I know how to use it. Thanks.
