ok, I started with a few .RM converted to .VOB files, most the clips are around 5 mins long... ok this was done great win WinAVI, ok, now I tried to splice together and make a menu with Sonic MyDVD, only problem is it wont add the conerted .VOB files like it does with AVI. The problem I have with converting from .RM to .AVI and then editing is that I get poor recording (i.e. burns but has read errors and sometimes wont play at all) I have had success with DVDSanta and CopytoDVD in burning but neither of these burners lets you make menus. is there anyway to do what I wanna do? convert RM to .VOB and then splice the files together to make one movie and make menus with chapters?

Change .VOB to .mov or .mpg or .mp1 or .AVI or some other extensions.
