Help with using DVD X Copy

When using DVD X Copy platinum I cant access files stored on my hard drive. If I click the advanced tab I have a choice of inserting a DVD or use files on my computer.How do I access these as the tab is shaded and not usable.

Welcome to aD! Haven't used xcopy in over a year - better programs out there like Shrink, Decrypter and AnyDVD.
aD also has a forum just for XCopy here's a link:

There are way better programs out there then DVD X Copy Platinum.

I would recommend AnyDVD and Clone Dvd 2. You can get them at http://www.slysoft.com/en/

however you can only use them for 21 days.
(I would reccomened buying both programs)

I'm with binkie7&j_torres...there are better programs to try and see how they work with your system. I have X COpy and never use it. Not knocking the prog. but the other options, CloneDVD2, Intervideo Copy 3 are easier to use, better quality, and actually faster (in my case!). Shrink is free and easy to use as well. I have AnyDVD in the background and never have any issues with the interaction with the wonderful programs. I would encourage you to download the trial versions and just compare. I did and was a quick believer. My X Copy is the same way...the tab access the files cannot be used. The version that is not by 321 studios is able to be used with the files on HD, but it is also way over priced as compared to programs that are $40-$50.00 dollars cheaper.
