is this a completely different software? or do you think it's somewhat of an "update" to dvd shrink since dvd shrink no longer updates it's software? either way, could be dvd shrink "part II".....should be worth the try

Just heard about it today, here are some threads with feedback on the program. It is not by the developer of Shrink, he now works for Nero.

Yes the creator of DVD Shrink now works for Ahead software (also known as Nero), and has since developed "Nero Recode". If you have used Nero Recode you will notice great similarity between the 2. The major difference between the 2 in my opinion is only cosmetic. Nero Recode is faster though.
