Quick question, I just got the Xecuter 3 successfully installed and I am downloading X3 3294 as we speak. However, on Xbins there are two bios available the X3 3294 and the Flash X3-- which one do I need? I will be running the Evox dash once its all said and done if you need that info. Also I did not install the optional switch bank, I only plan on running my backed up discs with my mod. Do I need to install the switch bank?

The Flash X3 is an Xecuter created flash program to program X3s. The file with the revision number is the BIOS file. Get the appropiate one (not sure if you need 1.6 bios) and use the Flash X3 to program.

EDIT: The external selector is optional, all it does is allow you to choose between bios banks and see hard drive/lan activity. It will default to the first 4 banks on the chip if selector is not present.

isn't the main purpose is tp be able to play games from the hard drive and play back up games?

Well, then which ever method works then use it. As for people who sup up the xbox with the newest and latest dashboards.... POWER TO YOU ALL!
