Probably more a function of the media than the buring program. And unlock the caps key.

It is the dvd media that caused that problem not your programe.
Get well known media like verbatim, TY or Maxell and you are on your way to your favourite movie.

Definitely try new media, burn slow 4x or slower and then make a decision about the program. Everyone at AD could send a list a mile long with their favorite progs., the best and the worst, but you need to first see if the media is the issue. If not then look at several that are mentioned at AD...Decrypter, Shrink, Nero Recode 2, CloneDvd2, Intervideo Copy 3, Dvd Rebuilder, DVD2One...and many others. I would suggest to download trial versions and see which ones work with your system and then at the appropriate time make a purchase. Many do their back-ups with free progs that work very well and have tremendous success. So many options.

You already have a very good burner software program in Nero. Also if not doing so already, try -R format disks instead of any +Rs as these are more compatible with older players which can sometimes struggle with the +R format.

salvara85 How and what you are burning is a more relevant question. Are you using DVD Shrink and then Nero? Or are you using Nero recode and then Nero to burn ? Are you converting .AVI or DivX files to dvd and then burning with Nero? So How? and What ? you are burning is more important to know.

salvara85, Chat room or online etiquette, requires that you turn off your CAPS. When you talk to people by typing, you try to express your feelings and to make a POINT ! By using smilies or abbrieviation. [ LOL is laughing out loud ] When you have your caps on , it means that you are raising your " voice " even yelling or shouting at someone !! In polite conversation , it is RUDE to yell at someone you have never met before. So please turn off your CAPS. Thank You !!
PS Not bad for someone just out of the hospital and using a crayon to type with !! LOL

Here is my two cents, If you wanna burn dvd's from dvd's use DVDFab decrypter rip it to your hard drive next use DVDShrink to create an Iso and remove any unwanted parts of the dvd then burn with DVDdecrypter all of these programs are free. DVDFabDecrypter can handle even the latest encryptions, DVDShrink can resize to fit on one disc, and DVDDecrypter can burn your movie to disk. For Files like XviD,DivX or mpeg's use VSo DivX to dvd free version then use shrink and decrypter to burn. Just my opinion because these are all free and quality is very good considering I didn't spend a dime
