I finally got my PS2 back after getting a professional to mod it for me.
It's the 30004R and the chip is an ORIGINAL Matrix Infinity (firmware 1.54)

I was playing GTA: Vice City (Original) when suddenly the game freezed. I was thinking "oh heck, Ill just restart it!"

I restarted it, but there was nothing but a black screen. Now, after about 20 restarts I decieded to post here.
I've tried to unplug all the cables, but still nothing.
Both the green and the blue light is there. And I can hear the PS2 working for like 5 sec before it becomes silent.

Yes, I have tried both with different games and without any disc at all. All I hear is some working sounds, then nothing. The TV is fine and I've tried different cables.

My own thoughts was that perhaps its overheating, though its not really hot outside. The fan is NOT spinning when I power on, but nothing else is spinning either after the 5 seconds.
I have also cleaned it, so no dust will be stuck inside.

Please help, I've spent alot of money on my PS2 lately!

Luckily I have warrenty on chip/installation if thats the problem. Though it will take some money, time and effort to send it, this will probably be my only go.. :( I dont want that slim edition!

Any help appriciated!

Now I have sent it back to the professional.. He ensures me that he will wither fix it or replace it.
Still if anyone know what is wrong with it, please tell me.

it sounds like maybe one of the connections on the mod came loose.

you did what i think you should have done and sent it back since it had a warrenty.
