Proble when copying encrypted dvd

I have one dvd that is problematic when trying to copy it using dvd shrink, I get a message saying that the disc is encrypted and cannot be copied. I have no problems when copying other discs. Can you please advise me how to work around this problem.

Are you running a decrypter? Try running AnyDVD (free 21 day trial), or try ripping dvd to your hard drive with DVDDecrypter (freeware) first, then try shrink. You can find guides and downloads sites for both programs using the search here on AD. These two programs used with shrink are pretty much unstoppable!

Just out of curiosity, what movie are you trying to backup?

The Barbra Streisand New Years eve concert, I tried using Nero, first to cut an image and then to copy the VOB files to harddisk, I get the same message, I also tried SmartRipper, I get the same message, Will try DVDDecrypter and AnyDVD.

Good luck! since I purchased AnyDVD I have yet to have a problem. If this combo fails you might have a bad pressing of the original and in that case try another copy.
