All,
I am trying to backup one of my larger DVD's and have run into the problem that the program I use tried to create a .m2v file that would be larger than 4gb. However, it seems that my operating system (windows ME) does not allow a file larger than this. Is this a problem with Windows 2000? Is there a way around this by altering Windows ME? Is there a way to backup a larger DVD-9 without created a file larger than 4 gb?

Win2000 supports NTFS, so there is no 4GB filesize limit. You really should do yourself a favour and ditch WinME. You won't regret it.
