hello!

Im using DVDsanta to convert 3 avi files( with subtitles for each) to burnable DVD format, but for some reason, after the second avi is finished converting DVDsanta shuts down, without an error message or anything.
The total DVD running time with all avi's put together is 2 hours and 26 minutes, which runs over a DVD R 's time limit, but once converted I was planning on shrinking the DVD later using DVDshrink as to get the entire film on one DVD, but since DVd santa shuts down, I dont know how to go about converting everything.
Is there something wrong I'm doing with DVDsanta?
Does it have trouble encoding 3 avis with srt's?
If so, what are some other programs that I could use to encode 3 avis plus subtitles to DVD format as to make them fit on one DVD+R?

Sometimes when DVDSanta encounters a problem, it just shuts down without any error message. This might have something to do with the integrity of the avis. Are you avis downloaded? If so, they may contain errors causing the problem. You may try check for and correct errors with e.g. DivFix, Avifixed, then try again with DVDSanta. But be sure to backup the avis first before correcting errors 'cos sometimes the programs might backfire.

Good luck!

Failing that, why not join the 3 .avi's together, then use DVD Santa (a wonderful little tool). I believe there's a programme out there called avijoin (suprisingly) that'll do the trick.
