I thought these DVD-5's held 120mins? Why is my movie which is only 108mins only at 65% compression with reauthoring and using only the title movie file?
I am so confused...

have you double checked all that you want in the movie.....some time you have other things that are part of the main movie included

Hi,
Sorry I don't understand what you mean. I loaded the disc in, hit open dvd, it ran through it's thing, and then after that I clicked reauthor, added the main movie, and it is 6.6G....
Is there a way to edit the title movie file that I have overlooked hopefully?

Just a guess, but I think the soundtrack, DTS, 5.1, 2.0, subtitles factor in the amount of space being used. Even if you author just the movie itself.
BTW, I think I hold "that" title.

Shrink will compress video but does not compress audio. That is why you are getting that compression amount.

Different movies have different video "bitrate". Higher bitrate means bigger file.
For example: You have 2 copies of the same movie, each is the same length. But, each movie has different bitrate. The movie with the higher bitrate will be bigger than the movie with the lower bitrate.
