I've changed the lens gear before on the old lens, and it was all fine, then my lens started to weaken out, so i decided to get a new lens, and it doesnt' work.. so i've got a few questions
how can i tell if there's anti-static points on the lens?? i've looked @ the PCB and it seems liek the groove on the 2 metal blob is there so i'd suppose i dont need to do any soldering??
2nd, it seems like my when i boot the ps2, the lens goes to the "home" position, and then starts moving inwards until it hits the thing that spins the cd and pops back out.. there's a lil switch kinda thing near the spinning thing for the lens to hit so that it wont go inward more??? i dunno... did i hit smth in the ps2?
anyone kno wat i'm talkin about??
PLEASE HELP ME!!!! i can clear up things if anyone think they could help.

i've put the original lens back there.. but it gave me that same clicking noise..
