When DVD Shrink starts not been able to handle the 'new' protections on the DVD you might have to start using decrypter more or get this program called AnyDVD :P

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/228599 NO MULTIPOSTING, but yes DVD Shrink and Nero tend to give best results

It's all "in the eye of the beholder". There are a number of good programs and Shrink and Nero are among them. IMO not necessarily "better" than others.

i have to say this combination, along with AnyDVD is unstoppable, i have not had any problems...

CloneDVD is no where near as good as these, it advertises 'less than 30 minutes', with cloneDVD2 it takes me 40 minutes just to shrink, directly from disc...
while in shrink it takes a maximum of 30 mins to shrink and 10 or so minutes to burn...

once a die-hard fan of shrink as far as transcoders go but have been swayed w/ a little help from friends and it seems they were right I reccomend you try this out dvd copy3 from intervideo and you can get a fully functioning trial from here:> http://www.intervideo.com/
seems to have superior quality but I rarely use transcoders anymore
give it a try and tell us of results
