wow ,all these capture options!.can anyone please recommend a reliable,good value option for capturing a few video clips to mpeg format ,that i need to do some audio restoration on ?.any good bargains around?,i thank you.

Well you can Get a "Hauppaggue WinTV PVR-150" for about $75 which uses Hardware Mpeg-2 Compression and Produces Pretty Good Quality....

You might have to look on e-bay to get one that Cheap...

This One here is also Pretty Good From what I hear and it is one of the only Capture cards that uses a 12 bit decoder with Hardware Mpeg-2 compression and it has a 16mb Frame Buffer so you don"t drop frames and it also can capture the audio in Dolby AC3 format which is the best Format for DVD"s....

I have an ATI AIW which the card above uses the ATI chipset. The ATI AIW card that I use is more expensive but works great. I would recomend an ATI card, they work great.
