i burned off tekken, and when i launched it with swap magic, the whole game had a weird effect on the screen like bad tracking on a VCR...anyone got any info aboutthis i might need? (note, it was the pal version of the game)

If you don't have a PAL tv that might be whats wrong.

hmmm...i guess that'd be it...i'll have to look for a US version of the game..thanks for the info...although JAP released work fine..just figured i'd throw that in incase it possibly ruled out the TV thing.

I backed up Tekken 5 on a Fuji 8X DVD+R "Made In Japan" media using DVD Decrypter to ISO READ into the hard drive first, then ISO WRITE at 8X flawlessly.

Yes... PAL is Europe. Try booting with the PAL version on your Swap Magic 3.6 plus dvd disc - it has the capability of booting a PAL version as well. However, keep in mind that your TV has to be NTSC and PAL compatible though.
