OK let me describe my story so far.
I'm using Windows XP64, and have a few MDS files that need to be burned. First I use DVD Decrypter to burn them, somehow none of them was working.
Then I made a search on the Internet and mostly heared about using Alcohol to mount the MDS file. But, using Windows XP 64, there has not been a version for any Virtual Drive or Image Mounting program yet, which I want to direct to our infamous Alcohol and Deamon tools. Thus, I can not use this method.
So then, I tried to use ISO Buster to extract files inside the MDSs to HDD and used Nero to burn it as Data disc type. The result is, still not working.
Can you tell me is there other way to burn MDS file beside those ways that I had used?
Thanks a lot for reading.

When you decrypt the discs you will get 2 files, one .mds and one .iso, you need both of these in the same folder.
Which game was it you were trying to burn? ...sometimes this makes a lot of difference because some of them need rebuilding. Also, what mod have you got on your ps2?
With the information you gave it's not very clear where the problem could be, please give more information about what game it is, your ps2 version, what mod you have for it eg using swapmagic and fliptop case, and what discs you are using eg ritekg05 DVD-R.
we'll try and help, but the more info we get the easier it is to know what's wrong ok?

Thanks for replying.
I'm using the DMS4 EZI Lite chip. It works fine on any games that I burn before using Windows 64 with the same type of DVD-R.
Games I try to burn is Makai Kingdom, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Megaman Anniversary. Except for Makai kingdom and MSL, I got Megaman from Bittorent, so I dont have to decrypt it. I actually has 2 files, MDS and MDF. Is there a difference in burning those 2 files?

I have no idea about the mdf file, sorry. I only backup originals using DVD Decrypter and get an mds and iso.... if you burn with decrypter you select the mds file, but I usually use Nero and burn the iso as I prefer the burn options I get with that.

hopefully, someone else can offer you some advice.

Actually, just found this for you...

But as far as I can tell, it doesn't offer any more insight into your problem. MGS3 should burn ok... I had no problems with it, didn;t have to rebuild or anything... don't know about the other 2 you mentioned though.
