i tried softmodding and it worked but it worked in a different language but i dont know how to get my old m$ dashboard back it says download the new update for xbox live and i need to get onto my ms dashboard back i dont know if i need to network my xbox to get my old m$ dashboard back some one please help me and please replie with a correct and informational description on how to get the old MS dashboard back.... PLEASE... i need to know how to get the old ms dashboard back... i could use some help right about now from all you exspirenced soft modders!

okay ... im presuming ur using unleashedX

1. open ur c.d drive to bring up the unleashedX boot menu
(the menu you fist arrived at when installing the softmod)

2. select restore MS dash

3. reboot xbox with no disk in drive

4 MS dash will be re-installed

Ehnzo,

I have the same problem and when I power up xbox with CD open or closed, I get "your xbox requires service". The only way I can get unleash menu is to have the splinter cell game and run linux. Do you have any other comments other than I'm screwed?
