I have having problem with connecting my V3 to my PC win W2K.
Under Device Manager, the USB Motorola Modem is using COM1,
The COMM Port is set to COM1 too under Ports (COM & LPT). I am using
the P2k Driver (USBMOT200.IBF) for the USB Motorola Modem. Both of
USB Modem Driver & COMM Port is working properly with the driver.
I used to get MOBILedit to work (able to transfer files), but after
the play around with the COM port setting. It doesn't detect the phone
anymore under MOBILedit. The reason why I played around with the COM
port setting is that I got "Time Expired" with MIDway. I heard that
I need to use COM 1-4 under MIDway and has to match with COM port#
under USB Motorola Modem. After I restart my PC, I can't select COM
1-4 under MIDway anymore. It has the message "Can't open the serial
port" no matter which port I set. Pls help!
