I downloaded a game and when i opened the .rar i got a MDF and a MDS file.The MDF file is like 3.3Gb and the MDS file is 5Kb. I have Alcohol 120 and the only file i can burn is the MDF file so i was wandering if the MDS file is needed for anything.I still dont have my DVD burner but i want to know so that when i get it ill be ready.

I mean the only one i can burn is the MDS file but it says it is 3.3Gb like the MDF file. so is it suposed to be kike that? Its the same thing when i open the MDS file with DVD Decryptor it becomes 3.3Gb. do i have to covert it to an .ISO file to be able to paly it on the ps2? i have sap magic. sorry for the double post.

the mds file just contains information on the structure of the image file. it's supposed to be there, and in general when you select to burn the mds file, it structures the mdf file properly and burns that.
