i am trying to back up my copy. i used decrypter and iso>read
then iso>write When i put it in my playstation with the no solder and swap magic 3.6 it says not a real ps2 disc can anyone help please

Who installed the mod chip?
And are you sure it was installed right?
That could be the reason they won't work.
Also do you or any of your friends have Swap Magic?
you could use their PS2 to test the games and see if they
work on their system.

no none of my friends do and i installed the chip myself. if i take the chip out and then put it back the way it was and the loosen the top over the cd then could i see if it would work then. it would be just like a flip top. I will try that. thanks

is it an older model PS2 with a flip top
or a slimline PSTwo?
If it is a slimline then it won't work
when you open it to swap discs it will reset

i thought that all the no solder chip did was make the tray come out would that make the game not read.

depends on the mod chip
the DMS4 EZI solderless chip can do just about
everything that a regular soldered in mod chip can do
Some just stop it from resetting, and some will
eliminate the need for boot discs.
But anything you install can stop the PS2 from
working right depending on what you do while you
have it opened up.
