Hong Kong SAR ? Blank DVDs from Chung Cheong International Ltd feature a new technology that prevents illegal copying.

The proprietary technology uses a dot matrix image implanted on the two substrates of a DVD. This image can not be duplicated. Thus, the file originally saved in the DVD will not be duplicated as well.
