How many movies can I author with DVD Shrink?

How do I know how much movies (titles) I can put into a DVD+r disc?
What is the maximum limit which one can take in and still compress automatically? How much is the maxium time or maximum gigabyte files
which I can add and still use? So my DVD+r will still be able to play the video. So I understand the more I add the less the quality of video and audio, right?

A single layer disc holds 4.38 gig. As for the max limit of a file to compress I've seen shrink compress an 8 gig file which is roughly 50% compression. Yes - the more compression used will mean a loss of video quality.
Using a dual layer disc you can do a 1:1 copy with no loss.
