After I get a dvd cut down to size and I copy it to a dvd-r and it tests ok and works, can i just copy from that copy, or do I have to redo all the steps of taking away subtitles, or whatever I had to cut? I know I could save it to hard disk and keep it that way, but of course I would run out of space eventually. Thanks.

Now you can copy from one to the other but I would recommend you get an image of the copy, then try burn it to another dvd-r
