I'm new to backing up ps2 files, and i decided to try it with The incredible hulk ultimate distruction. I've looked at some guides, but i still can't get it working. so far i have the iso (3.85 GB) and i've extracted all the files into a folder (1.88 GB) using isobuster. i've already tried to burn the contents of the folder onto a dvd-r using nero; but when i put the dvd into the ps2, it says "please put in ps2 formatted disk." i used the UDF/ISO setting in the nero burning rom. is nero the right program to use?
for those of you who have this game running, how did you do so?
thanks.

well, you aren't able to play backed up games without modifying your PS2 (with either a mod chip or swap disks). do a google search for "ps2 modification" and they will lead you to sites to get your ps2 modded. if you don't, all burned games that you create will give you that screen which you mentioned. good luck.

i've already opened up my ps2, so i'm not worried about voiding the warranty. what is the cheapest way to go?
edit: i can't tell you what version ps2 i have, but it is not the slim version, and it has 8 screws in the bottom. what do i have to buy and where can i get it?

cheapest way to go would be to get swap disks. no soldering involved with your ps2. just be sure to get version 3 or higher

I got my flip top and swap magic disc at the link below. You will need a fliptop or a slide tool to beable to swap the disc when you use swap magic. I got the flip top and swap magic for less then $40 and was at my door in 2 days. Even ordered a few more times for friends and family on this site and got the product in 2 days real good at fast delivery.
