V265 PC Connection Problem

I installed MPT and updated it to the lastest version. the first time i plugged in my V265 it worked great wiht MPT. I closed MPT and then opened P2K manager. I plugged the phone back in and windows XP asked me for a bunch of drivers. i directed it to both the MPT inf files and the drivers included with P2K manager. None of the drivers would be accepted by Windows as the correct drivers. I canceled all the driver installs, there were several of them that came up.
Now the phone is not recognized at all when it is plugged in. the phone beeps, but the PC does not show any new devices, and it does not show up in device manager. I also tried it on a different PC and it does the same thing on the 2nd PC.
It is like something got set strange in the phone and i cannot change it back. i have tried removing the battery and it doesn't make a difference.

Any suggestions??
