Hello all, Im a newbie.
I'm wondering if anyone can assist me with a network adapter setup. I have roadrunner and it's linked to my pc, I've plugged the eithernet cord into the back of the adapter and the other end is still connected to the modem, which also gives me the ability to continue to surf the net, however I keep trying to set up the connection, after getting my information from roadrunner, I put it in and test the connection and it just doenst seem to work. Is there something I continue to do wrong?

i had that problem too at one point, and i tried unplugging(power) the modem and then plugging it back in, and it worked fine, try that and it might help.

cable modems remember whats hooked to then when turned on. so you have to turn it off and start it with ps2 hooked up. buy a router or switch and wont have to deal with this anymore
