WinDVD Creator and audio problem

When I import lets say 6 MPEG2 files in windvd creator (each file is 600 mb) and make DVD from them, in final product I have only two or three chapters that are OK and in the rest of them audio os late about two seconds. One more question: is it normal to take about 4 hours to make DVD from 6 MPEG2 files (each is 600mb)???
