Hi guys,
I am new in DIVx to VCD conversion so i desperately need your help.
I followed the next steps to obtain a VCD (Divx to VCD with permanent subtitles):
1> I checked the avi file with Gspot and i found :
Xvid
23.976 fps
AC3 sound format
2> I loaded the avi file in Virtualdubmod for extracting the audio with ac3 extension and i fixed the resulted file with besliced.
3> I encoded the audio fole to mp2 with Besweet
3> I opened tmpeng, loaded the avi file and
encoded to mpg with "sistem video only".
4> In mpegtools-the simple multiplex tab-i chosed mpeg-1 video CD, loaded the mpg file resulted at step 3 and after that i tried to load the mp2 file obtained at step 2.

Problems :
1. After loading the video file in tmpeng and proceed with all the settings i could not see the subtitles in .. file..preview
2. When i loaded the audio file for multiplexing i received this error : "Illegal Audio Stream"
Please note that I followed the same procedure (less than ac3 extraction) for other avi files (i.e. with mp3) and obtained very nice VCD with permanent subtitles

Please help me with these problems.Please
