Problem with new DVD2SVCD Version

Has anybody had problems with the new version?
I set it up and tried to convert however, the preview window did not show a picture - just a scripting error message. I have gone back to the previous version until I see if this problem gets fixed. Maybe I need to install a new ASPI file or something, I don't know. Any suggestions??
