ok now i hav read all these posts and links and threads and tried just about evry method iv read and failed :'( .. i know that is a succesful method out there to boot backups of PS2 games using AR2 and cogswap/knife trick.. so can som1 plz tell me or give me a link to this method..and also taking note that i want this without using a mod chip as becuase i hav before and i ended up with a cheap "messaih" chip ( i think thats how u spell it ) and the guy was nothin but a crook... so no mod chiping for me :D im too cheap anyway :p

I used this method at first but it took ages for me to get it to work and had to deviate from the guide I found on the net anyway. It's such a pain in the arse I don't think I could do it again either.
The swap magic discs were much , much simpler to use, and now I'm using a HDD, even better.
Even if you do get it to work, next time you switch on you might do it right first time (unlikely) or you might have 3 attempts,(all starting from scratch) before you get a back-up to load. It's crap.
Remember, the version of AR you have, blank media, the game itself, and human error all contribute to success anyway.
