Ripping Gamecube games without a BBA?

So ive done a little reading and so far it seems the only way to rip a GC game is by either modchip/PSO connected to your comp via a broadband adaptor.

Now my question, is there a way you can rip a game without having to plug in ur Gamecube to your computer?

Someone else game me the answer no because of the way dvdburners read the disc but I was hoping someone will be able to prove him wrong. As you know gamecube iso's r hard to come by on the net.

No I think that you need the BBA because the computer can't read gamecube discs.

Gamecube discs MUST be read by the Gamecube system ONLY, a regular DVD Drive or burner will not recognize a GC disc because the File system is very different, PLUS Gamecube discs are read from the outside in, opposite to regular DVD or CD's


so in short, no, you cannot rip a GC game without using a BBA and a PC

DITTO what the other 2 said you need to rip it from your gamecube drive.

@djrazor I think they was talking about you when they said they wanted to prove somone wrong. if you didnt notice they asked this in a thread already and you told them no.

If you disagred with him then you should have done it in the first thread you typed. And no he wont be proved wrong, you where proved wrong by multiposting!
