Hi all...........
i have dvd decrypter ver: 3540 & it's working just fine, but with sony DVDs it does not work ????

i realy need an answer

Hi ah4729,

The latest and last updated version of DVD Decrypter does at times have problems with the newer sony movies due to 'stronger copy protections'. You can try to clean the disk to make sure there are no minor grit or grime thus making the dvd harder to read. Also there is a free version of a program called dvdfab decrypter which works a little better. Then you have AnyDVD which runs in the background and descrambles (bypasses) the latest protections. AnyDVD comes with a 21 trial period before you have to order it. Go to www.slysoft.com and check it out..worth the few dollars you will spend. I personally use dvdfab decrypter on those DVD Decrypter can't sort and AnyDVD for those pesky movies that don't wanna be copied. Oh you can find dvd fab decrypter in the software section and remember to get the free version.

I have tried DVD Decrypter, dvd fab decrypter, any dvd, dvd 43 and am still not able to "backup" Sony dvds. I am also using DVD Shrink after trying to decrypt the movie using the above listed programs. Does anyone have any more suggestions? Thank you for your help

The latest versions of AnyDVD and clonedvd2 will work just fine.

For some of the latest ARccOS protection system versions - you need to create a PSL2 file (help file) to be able to backup your DVDs with DVD Decrypter.
