I have been using SmartRipper for several months without a problem. I had to reload XP Pro and since then I cannot rip a single DVD. Previously, I would check the first two boxes in the stream processing tab. This always worked until now. It would rip only the VOB files which I would then run through DVD2AVI, and on to TMPEG.

Now, I get VOB files plus other files with extensions like d2v,idx,lst and ifo. I can no longer run the VOB files through DVD2AVI.Any help would be appreciated.

need to update your aspi layer. the one that comes with xp will not do the trick. You can get it at this site..

I have been trying for hours to install the update but I am not getting any where. I tried both updates from this site and they do not work. Tried others from various sites and was unsuccessful. Suggestions??? Thanks in advance
