Hello there djando99, welcome to aD,
Please try to post a bit more specifically. I am guessing English isn't your native tongue so just take your time ~
What type of discs did you buy ?
Are they movies ?
Are they blanks ?
If they are blanks and you try to burn to them, please explain what programs you use to burn, what are you burning ? Movies ? Data ? How are you using them - We need to know each step - where you got your errors and what they said. I know English is difficult but we need to understand exactly what you are doing so that we can help. Take your time and try to type as much as you can.
Information = Solutions
No information = No answers

mybarras, by not using English yourself, you're setting a poor example and being rude to the many of our members who would like to understand what you're saying. Imagine yourself trying to learn from someone posting in code when you've studied so hard to learn his or her language.

@djando99, welcome to AD, What program do you use to Decrypt the Dvd? What program do you use to compress (if needed) the Dvd from a Dvd 9 (Dual Layer) to a Dvd 5 (Single layer blank media)? Many at AD in the beginning and even still use is DVD Decrypter and Shrink. Both do great and are easy to learn. The guides that are listed at the Homepage of AD are very helpful. I'm willing to offer any help, there are people here that know a lot more than I do but I'm still willing to help. Just let us know What program you are using? Brand name of the media? I know you mentioned burning at 4x that's good...I always burn at 4x or slower. A program that I invested into was AnyDVD from www.slysoft.com. It runs in the background and tells your computer that the movie that you placed within the tray is not-encrypted and then you can copy it, compress it and then copy it. As many will say it is worth it and it is constantly being updated to handle any new encyption that comes out. Relax and learn and you will enjoy this new hobby. Again welcome aboard.

@djando99, sorry my friend but I have never used that prog. I would suggest going to the guide section at AD. There you will find a guide in burning with this program. This should help. Another prog. that is free is dvdidentifier. Great tool that tells you information about your media that you are using.

If santa doesn't deliever for you I would encourage you to download DVD Decrypter and shrink, both from AD and both have easy to follow guides that will have you up and burning in no time. I personally like AnyDVD in the background. It tells the computer that the movie is non-encrypted and then you can copy and burn with vitually any of the programs that many will mention at ad. I believe that www.slysoft.com offers a great deal if you want clonedvd2/anydvd combo. Great program and easy to use. Hope this helps!

djando99,
DVDsanta isn't the best proggy you could use. But I suspect your problem lies in your use of it.
You say you're having trouble with DVD's and CD's. So as we don't become confused, let's deal only with DVD's until we get that straightened out, OK ?
Good !
Instead of burning to a DVD-5 (4,700,000,000 bytes) when you are trying to render your AVI's or DivX's change your disc size to 4,600,000,000 bytes so that you're not burning to the outside of the disc where the dye application is generally uneven and on cheaper quality discs, sometimes missing entirely. It's not that much of an adjustment but enough to make a difference. You'll be able to make that adjustment by going to your opening screen in DVDsanta's conversion section (where it says, "Files to DVD") then click on "Advanced settings" then changing your Target Disc Size to: 4,600,000,000 (just don't use the commas :) To make it easier, just substitute the number 6 for the number 7 and you'll be fine.
DVDsanta has the disc size set a bit too high for DVD Video burning.
Run a disc and use a DVD RW so as you don?t lose any more DVD?s until we get our problem fixed.
Let us know the results.

djando99,
Hi,
DVDsanta programe is not bad programe after all. I have DivX to DVD, DVDsanta, Nero to help to do the conversion to dvd format.
Once you are familiar with that it will be easy for you.
I think it has something to do about your dvd media instead of the software. Make sure the dvd media you have are quality dvd media and not crappy dvd media like memorex.....
Like ScubaPete had said put all your problems in layman english so that everyone here know what you are referring to so that they can find a way to have your problems solved.
