I realize this may be a simplistic question for most of you but I'd like help with protecting the surface of my TY disks. I've been using memorex and tdk that I picked up at a local store with no problems. I've recently switched to TY with the blank silver surface. They are genuine and I've gotten them from 2 different sources.

For whatever reason both surfaces seem to scratch with minimal contact. The top disks were scratched when I removed the wrapping and getting any of the disks to my burner without dust attaching to them or smudges or scratches seems impossible. I've never had this problem with any cdr media or any other dvds I've tried. I've never seen anyone mention this but I'd appreciate ideas. Also is there a different TY surface that is coated to minimize scratches?
